Location: Düsseldorf Languages: German (fluent), English (fluent) Traveling: rarely (once every 2 3 months to company's locations in the UK or USA) Salary: 52.000€ (up to 59.000€ if your profile matches perfectly) You will be working together with an experienced German colleague on delivering local technical support and managing the IT Infrastructure on a day to day basis taking responsibility for resolving incidents and requests in line with our defined processes and to agreed services levels. You will be reporting to the head of IT who is based in the UK and working closely with him and the international team on company wide IT projects. The responsibilities - Resolve incident in line with the defined ITIL based processes - Day to day management of the infrastructure in the field covering technologies around Servers/os & Storage, Backup, LAN connectivity, Mobiles and Telephony, local IT facilities and endpoint device management including reprographics; to include monitoring, checking availability & capacity of local infrastructure and applying changes in line with the agreed change management process - Work with the problem management team to resolve issues and address corrective actions identified by the service improvement program - Collaborating globally with company's IT resources, supporting over 3.400 IT users in over 190 locations speaking English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Czech, Swedish, Finnish, Dutch, Danish, Portuguese, Turkish and Chinese. The profile needed - Years of experience in support for complex windows based environments - Technologies you should be familiar with: Windows Server from 2003 to 2012, Active Directory, DNS, SCCM, Terminal services, understanding of LAN and WAN networking tools, Backup technologies, Antivirus technologies, working knowledge or certificate in ITIL If that sounds good to you, give me a call right now and let us talk about it.
