NCS is looking for a dedicated, responsible, self-motivated individual to join our growing team of Low Voltage professionals.

The right individual has the opportunity to advance to Level 2 with a proven record of working independently, completing projects & service tickets satisfactorily and on-time, demonstrated leadership qualities, excellent interpersonal skills, and dedication to the evolving technology industry and NCS' high-quality standards.

Pay is negotiable and based on experience.

Depending on your physical location, travel will be required 10-20% of the time. NCS is HQ'd out of Middleton, WI and serves our customer throughout most of Southern WI.

The work schedule varies based on customer demand. May include 2nd or 3rd shift occasionally, and a possible on-call rotation.

Job Duties will include:

Installing, Terminating, Troubleshooting, Testing Low Voltage Cabling including Cat5e, Cat6, Fiber, Coax in a variety of systems including Voice, Data, Fiber, CCTV, DAS, Wireless in commercial settings including retail, office, industrial.

Installation of cabling management including racks, patch panels, wire management, cable support systems. Terminate 110 Patch Panels and 66 Blocks

Installation and Troubleshooting of network devices including switches, routers, UPS, AP's, POS & Peripherals, cameras, video equipment, PCs

MDF & IDF buildups and retrofits

Performing service calls and MACs, including troubleshooting and resolving customer issues.

Complete paperwork and other Deliverables (pics, as-builts, test results, survey forms, etc) timely and accurately.

Troubleshoot Voice Lines

Scissor Lift operation

Other duties may include: Job Status Reporting; Site Surveys; conduit installation; Circuit Extensions -- T1, & POTS lines, Customer interface; Materials Inventory; Proper care and use of Company tools & vehicle

Job Qualifications include:

1-2+ Years of experience with tasks outlined in Job Duties section.

Valid Driver's License, with a relatively clean driving record

Physical Ability to install cabling in commercial settings, ability to lift cable spools and other materials/equipment, climb up/down ladders, commute long distances, manual dexterity to terminate cable to proper color code, and use power tools.

Proficient with the use of Smartphone, GPS, Laptop/Tablet, Excel & Outlook

Experienced with Scissor Lift Operation

Flexible Schedule

Excellent communication & Customer Relationship skills
