IT Helpdesk Lead - Europe is required by my client based in Bologna, Italy to provide IT, Network and Desktop Support to Europe IT and network operations.

The IT Helpdesk Lead will be required to:

Administer Servers, computers, printers, Routers, Switches, Firewalls and phones.

Maintain network facilities in individual machines such as drivers and settings of personal computers and printers.

Generate and retain system backups.

Patch Network devices, Servers and End points.

Own the technical relationship with key suppliers for ERP System/SAP Telephone, Network, Server and PC Support.

Provide triage and ownership of problem tickets.

Upgrades to hardware and software.

Key skills required for the IT Helpdesk Lead:

Solid ability with Microsoft products including Windows and Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Understanding of the operation of networks, Firewalls, Servers etc.

Understanding of Windows PC and Server Operating systems.

Previous experience of supporting PC's Printers and Servers.

Exposure to server based applications.
